A more architectural interpretation of the pearl drop earring.

These 18ct white gold earrings feature 0.71cts of illusion-set diamonds, arranged to create greater presence and brilliance above a pair of substantial 11mm South Sea or Tahitian cultured pearls.

Tahitian pearls can take around 18–24 months to cultivate, and their appeal lies in the remarkable intensity and individuality of their natural colouring. Deep silver, graphite, green and peacock overtones can appear especially dramatic under different lighting, with no two pearls ever presenting in exactly the same way.

That individuality also makes matching especially challenging. Producing a fine pair requires two pearls with closely aligned colour, overtone, shape, surface quality and lustre — and achieving the same consistency across larger sets is rarer still.

Classic pearl and diamond earrings, elevated by exceptional scale and colour.

Crafted in 18ct white gold and set with 1.15cts of diamonds, these earrings are designed to accommodate magnificent 11mm South Sea or Tahitian cultured pearls, allowing two very different expressions of the same design.

Tahitian pearls are among the most distinctive cultured pearls in the world. Grown over approximately 18–24 months, their colour develops naturally within the black-lipped oyster and can display unusually strong shades of silver, green, charcoal, aubergine and peacock.

At this size, finding two pearls sufficiently similar to form a well-balanced pair becomes increasingly difficult. Matching not only diameter, but also lustre, surface, body colour and overtone, is what makes a fine pair particularly rare.

A striking combination of Tahitian pearl and diamond jewellery, crafted in 18ct white gold.

The earrings and matching pendant feature beautifully matched 12mm Tahitian cultured pearls, contrasted by 0.81cts of brilliant-cut diamonds. The cool white gold and diamonds accentuate the deep, metallic overtones of the pearls, giving the set a particularly dramatic character.

Tahitian pearls are cultivated in the black-lipped Pinctada margaritifera oyster, with the cultivation process typically taking around 18–24 months. Their natural colour spectrum can be remarkably intense, ranging from charcoal and silver through to peacock green, aubergine and deep graphite.

Finding one exceptional Tahitian pearl is special; assembling pearls with closely matched size, shape, lustre and colour for earrings and complete sets is considerably rarer.

A signature piece from our necklace collection, combining exceptional pearls with sculptural fine jewellery craftsmanship.

Two rows of super-fine 8–9mm Japanese Akoya pearls are individually strung to 34 inches, graduating into an elegant open-ended silhouette. At the centre, a fully diamond-set bow in 18ct yellow gold forms the focal point, set with over 3.00cts of diamonds.

Distinctive design, precise pearl matching and expert craftsmanship sit at the heart of Aminoff London. Every element is considered to create jewellery with individuality, movement and enduring elegance.
