Maya is a fine jeweller inspired by observing the marks of time passing and of human touch. The patina of a well-loved wooden dining table, the sun-bleached edge of a velvet curtain. From an artistic family and after creative explorations in prop making, silversmithing and sculpture she has come to settle on jewellery for its ability to relate to human experience. Her creativity has found its way,

not into the confines of the gallery but into the universal language of precious jewels. Maya works on commissions ranging from simple variations of her current collections to remodelling of clients existing gems or more detailed one-off bespoke pieces.
