A long-held ambition is becoming a reality. Alongside my own jewellery practice, my new purpose-built studio at Cockpit Bloomsbury will provide an inspiring environment where emerging makers can develop both their creative practice and their business through subsidised studio space, professional mentoring and a supportive community.

One-of-a-kind. This commission, with its multi dimensional layers, was a wonderful piece to create. The extraordinary yellow sapphire now radiates with golden brilliance in its new platinum and gold setting. Every molecular element has been composed to draw the eye outwards like a celestial starburst - amplifying the stone's natural luminosity.

Designed to evolve with the wearer, this piece transforms effortlessly from statement brooch to elegant pendant, combining versatility with enduring craftsmanship.

Free-form glow. I recently sourced these extraordinary baroque pearls for a bespoke earring and brooch commission, and I can't wait to begin bringing the designs to life.

Their name derives from the Portuguese word barroco, meaning 'oddly shaped'. To me, it's precisely these organic irregularities that make every pearl a work of art. Their individual forms and beautifully lustrous surfaces catch and refract the light, revealing a soft, luminous glow that is entirely their own.

Making sunshine. A radiant new bespoke setting in progress - composed of sculpted gold and platinum elements which capture and reflect light with every movement. A technically complex combination of materials to work with, but the result was worth the challenge. A stunning yellow sapphire will glow from the centre - in full sunshine tones.

All hands on deck. I'm so grateful to everyone who has helped bring my new Cockpit Bloomsbury studio to life. It's been hot, hot, hot work but we've had fun, and it's been incredibly exciting to watch the space take shape.

This studio has been designed not only as a place to create, but as a place to welcome visitors and to nurture the next generation of makers through the Yen Studios Supported Programme.

Applications for the first supported studio spaces will be opening soon, with the inaugural cohort joining us in the new year. If you know a talented emerging maker who would benefit from an inspiring creative community, professional mentoring and subsidised studio space, please share the word.

Waterperry awaits. Doors open for the Desire Fair at the beautiful Waterperry Gardens this weekend (10–12 July), and these diamond earrings bring the sunshine, ready to be discovered amongst the blooms.

With their dreamy sparkle, each 4ct pear-cut lab-grown diamond is elegantly framed by my signature molecular settings, meticulously handcrafted to capture the stone's radiant beauty.

Flow motion. A sweep of glowing rubies set in flowing strands of gold - this Multi Flow Ruby Ring is a joyous celebration of July’s birthstone.

The design is centred on material and movement. A continuous line of gold, circles the finger in a motion of layers. Each ruby is carefully selected for its rich, saturated colour, with varied sizes composed to create asymmetrical balance.
