A gorgeous string of pearls that was given a new lease of life. Redesigned from a 22ct gold necklace & set with preloved sapphires from a collection of rings, both of which my client loved but no longer wore. I had the delight of creating a new design, adding in these beautiful molten coins of 22ct gold, and interspersing the pearls with little nuggets of buttery gold. 💛 A joy to make a necklace that makes a statement, whilst carrying stories of times past. The diamonds were used towards a new ring design ✨.

Ceylon Sapphire & Molten Gold | 21st Birthday Ring 💙

Twenty-one years ago, my client found this Ceylon sapphire in Sri Lanka and held onto it, knowing one day it would become something special for her daughter’s 21st birthday.

The 18ct gold comes from a ring she once loved but no longer wore. Two treasured pieces, reimagined as one.

The setting & ring band mirrors natural, rock-like formations, creating an understated and organic design, focused around letting the stone shine.

A true honour to create. 🩵✨
