Today marks a year since my mum passed. It feels like it was just the other day.

I miss hearing her voice and her laugh. But the funny thing is, I hear her more in my head now than ever before, the voice of guidance, reason, and chastisment 😊.

The other day, a friend said to me,
“Her heart is now your heart she walks with you.” And it stopped me in my tracks. Because that’s exactly how it feels. Her care, her fight, her strength it all lives on in me.

Tears still well up sometimes. But it’s OK. Grief isn’t something to rush through. It just changes form. And today I’m holding her close in memory, in love, and in spirit. ❤️❤️‍🩹🕊

I’ve been reflecting on the journey - what it’s taken to build Carol Cole Jewellery with heart, intention, and boldness.

There have been late nights, hard lessons, and quiet wins that only I could see. But also so much joy, so much love for the craft, and a deep belief in what I’m creating.

I love hearing the stories of other creatives. I soak up the inspiration, the grit, the care in their work. It keeps me grounded and reminds me that this journey isn’t meant to be easy, but it is worth it.

I’ve poured myself into every piece, made for people who want to express themselves with elegance, edge, and meaning.
And though it hasn’t always been smooth, I’m proud. Proud to be doing what I love, proud of the growth, and proud to keep going.
