Very occasionally we unearth something special. This is a 1983 Rolex Day-Date model reference 18198. A 36mm diameter Day-Date with ruby and diamond pleiade dial and a diamond set President bracelet (ref 8485/8). Both of these options were available on the regular 18038/18048 Day-Date. What sets this watch apart is the bezel set with triangle-cut rubies, sapphires and emeralds.
This falls very firmly into the ‘find another’ category. There is thought to be only a handful in existence…
This Day-Date has just returned from a mechanical service at Rolex UK. It will offered with Rolex warranty to July 2028.
