What a night 💃
Although I didn't win this time round, my family and I had a fantastic time at The Great British Entrepreneur Awards in London.
The thing that surprised me the most wasn't the grandeur of the venue or the people dressed to the nines (or even the champagne, which I most definetly appreciated), it was actually the thing that brought us all here in the first place; we had all worked our asses off for our own business that we really, really wanted. Behind all the beautiful dresses and tuxedos, were real grafters that in all likelihood had gotten home out of their work clothes and straight into their Sunday best to get there in time for the ceremony, and might even have had to leave before the end because they had to get back into work early the next day.
So win or no win, it was a real pleasure to meet these people that had grabbed life by the n**s and worked hard for what they wanted, despite the challenges, and made their 'little business' into a successful career.
On that note, thank you to all the people that support us, especially at this time of year. None of these businesses would be around without you, no matter how hard we work or how 'business savvy' we are.
Also a huge thank you to for having us, we all had an amazing night!
