OUR RETIREMENT SALE CONTINUES !!!

After more than half a century of looking after the jewellery requirements of a myriad of wonderful clients and loyal customers, Cherry and I have now decided to prepare the way for our full retirement over the coming few months.

Yes, we shall certainly have some regrets but these will be tempered by the wonderful opportunities we can see lie ahead for us.

Having made this momentous decision, we are actively looking for good homes for our small remaining jewellery stock and so in the run-up to this Christmas we are very happy to be offering some really beautiful rings and other items at seriously discounted prices.

Equally, if you know of anyone who might be thinking of proposing in the next few months, do please alert them to this special opportunity to buy a beautiful engagement ring at an extremely favourable price.  There is only one of each ring, so once they have gone, they have gone!

A charming and highly unusual 14ct yellow gold bracelet featuring five delightful Essex Crystal discs of ducks in flight, made circa 1880.

This style of reverse intaglio engraving where the image is deeply engraved into the flat side of the crystal, hand painted and then viewed through the domed front of the crystal, this gives a remarkably effective 3D effect.

It is called “ Essex” not because it originated from Billericay (!) but because it was the name of the engraver who pioneered this technique !

The different ducks featured are as follows :
From left to right: Chestnut Teal, Mallard, Eurasian Teal, Hybrid Duck, Redhead.
