⫷ A modern icon, in my own hand ⫸

I grew up drawn to Russian and Byzantine icons - that gaze, that gold, that stillness that holds so much meaning. This is my version: a mini AV. icon, built from collage, gold leaf, and the Arianna earrings themselves as the jewels of her portrait.
Citrine and white topaz, set in oxidised silver and gold - drawn here as relics, worn in life as everyday alchemy. Symbolism old and new, held together the way I hold everything I make: by hand, with intention. 💚💙

Made in 18ct gold, every hand-hammer mark on this hoop is a small act of memory - the kind of texture no machine can fake. The studded beading nods to the goldsmiths of old, who believed a piece should carry the trace of the hand that made it.

Worn today, they feel entirely modern. Some things don’t need translating. 💚💙

⫷ Adara - named for beauty, born from stone ⫸

Every path I’ve walked through ancient towns has led me here: sun-warmed cobblestones underfoot, pebbles worn smooth by centuries of footsteps and weather. The Adara Cocktail Ring carries that same quiet history — a golden citrine set like a stone found on a medieval street, cradled in a band that echoes the pebbles themselves, rounded and organic, as if the earth shaped them by hand.

There’s something alchemical about turning something so raw and elemental into something wearable. Ancient, contemporary, timeless.

There’s something so special about studio events. Doors open, and in walk old friends — clients who’ve trusted me with their stories for years — alongside new faces discovering the studio for the first time. ✨

Some come back to say hello and see what’s new. Others step into the space not quite knowing what to expect, and leave with a piece that feels like it was always theirs.
This is the heart of what I do — not just making jewellery, but building a community around it. Every conversation, every “tell me about this piece,” every familiar face walking back through that door — it all means more than I can put into words.

My heart is in two places right now. 🤍

As many of you know, I’m Venezuelan — and this past week has been one of the hardest my country has faced in living memory. Watching the earthquake’s aftermath unfold from London, so far from family and home, has been overwhelming.

I wanted to do something more than post. So for the whole of July, we will support earthquake relief in Venezuela through ‘We Love Foundation’ by donating 15% of all online sales proceeds.

My jewellery has always been about holding someone close to your heart. Right now, mine is full of my people, my country, and the hope that we will rebuild – together.

⫷ What a day to remember ✨ ⫸

This past Sunday we had the most wonderful time at — one of those days that remind you exactly why you do what you do.

We set up our stall in the sunshine, met so many of you for the first time, and were delighted to see familiar faces too — clients and friends who feel like family by now. There is something truly special about bringing Ana Verdun London out into the community like this.

And perhaps best of all, I got to meet after she opened the festival. Sophie has been wearing my Valentina Heart Locket non-stop and absolutely loves it. Apparently she gets compliments on it all the time! To hear that from her, face to face, was quite a special moment. We had to mark it with a photo, of course 💚💙

Thank you Bedford Park for having us. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, said hello, tried something on, or simply smiled as they passed. You made our day.
