International lo**ta day is a day of celebration, but today it's hard to feel like having fun. We feel sorrow and grief at the horrific murders of black people at the hands of the police.

Street Fashion Europe stands in solidarity with everyone who fights for justice in the United States and around the world.

We are well aware of the racism and the injustice in front of our own doors here in Europe. Black J-Fashion enthusiasts will always have a safe home at Street Fashion Europe.

Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak all over the world, days have been uneasy for all of us, but how are you doing?

We are sending out this illustration with message to brighten up all of you who have been staying at home, even if it's just a little bit.

We wish everyone the best of health and hope for the end of this crisis.

Dear all,

On the day we last updated you the World Health Organisation declared the situation with Covid-19 to be a pandemic. Since then, most travel insurance will no longer pay out if your trip is cancelled due to travel advice or health risk (a lot of insurance companies have stopped cover if you bought your insurance on the 12th March or later)

Additionally, since the WHO announcement, no events insurance will cover any cancellations that are as a result of Coronavirus.

As a result we have taken the difficult decision to postpone Dwimor and cancel ticket sales.

Even though it is several months away we do not want to risk possible cancellation and not be able to refund sales, or have to do it from our own funds. We are really sad as we had some wonderful guests, venues and events lined up, but we feel it is better to be cautious.

We hope all lo**tas in the world are safe and that we can meet you in person before too long!

Hello everyone!

I’m sorry for the recent quiet! We have been working hard to book fabulous guests and venues to announce to you soon!

Regarding coronavirus

As you will know several high profile events worldwide have recently been cancelled due to the risk of coronavirus and governments have been advising not to travel to some countries (the UK is not one of these countries at this time). Yesterday the lo**tas organising Lo**ta of Green Gables in Barcelona took the very difficult decision to postpone their event.

As Diwmor will take place in 6 months, we have decided to go ahead with planning as normal, as we hope the situation will be resolved by then.

We are, however, taking extra steps to mitigate any potential problems

→ Purchasing extra cancellation insurance on all flights and hotels booked for special guests

→ Purchasing event insurance to cover irrecoverable costs in order to refund tickets in case the event needs to be cancelled

We have some wonderful plans for you and hope to have an amazing Halloween celebration, but we can only make this happen with your help!

Flights for designers, venues and insurance is very expensive. Therefore we humbly ask all lo**tas who were planning to attend to still support us and buy tickets on release day (28th March) if you are able to, so we can create an amazing event and protect your ticket cost if necessary. Please remember that we are non profit.

Announcements about guests, venues as well as more info about the insurance will follow in the next days ☆

SFE is thrilled to announce our next event "Dwimor“ taking place in London. As this event takes place over Halloween, we have chosen an Old English name meaning phantom or apparition! We hope you will join our spooky celebration!

Tickets for Dwimor will be on sale from March 28th 2020.

Our first guest will be revealed soon!
