Hello!

Every piece is handmade with organic cotton, adding colour, confidence, and creativity to your wardrobe or your home. Handmade by Tinni - https://www.handmadebytinni.com/

Handmade by Tinni was founded in 2020 to address the lack of colourful, fun biodegradable jewellery for fashionistas who love expressing their personality with unusual, statement jewellery pieces. I’m Paulomi – the founder, desi

gner, and maker behind Handmade by Tinni, a colourful, bold, and joy-filled brand of textile jewellery and home decor, handcrafted right here in London. I launched this creative journey in 2020, inspired by my love for vibrant colours, meaningful design, and traditional craft techniques. As someone who grew up in India and now calls London home, my work is shaped by both cultures – the riot of colours and textures I saw every day as a child, and the bold, expressive spirit of modern design I’ve come to love in the UK. Before founding Handmade by Tinni, I worked for many years in the corporate world. But deep down, I always knew I wanted to build something with my own hands – something that felt joyful, honest, and personal. That urge to create led me to explore rope knotting and macramé, and I fell in love with the process. It’s slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying – every knot tells a little story, and no two pieces are ever quite the same. Today, I design each piece of jewellery with the intention of helping people express their personality, feel confident, and add a little colour to their lives. My necklaces, earrings, and word pieces are wearable statements – playful, eye-catching, and always handmade using organic cotton and sustainable materials. I also offer unique home decor pieces and creative workshops, encouraging others to slow down, reconnect with their creativity, and experience the joy of making something with their own two hands. Sustainability is an important part of my practice. I follow a zero-waste approach, partner with Ecologi to give back to the planet, and keep all my production local. But most of all, I care about creating pieces that feel personal and joyful – the kind of jewellery that makes someone smile, sparks a conversation, or becomes their go-to favourite. Thank you for supporting handmade, independent craft. It means the world. Paulomi

No, I cannot take the credit!

This lovely customer spotted some of my old (like one of the oldest!) designs on Etsy Etsy UK and dreamed her own colour combinations in red, grey & white. I only made her dream design a reality and made with utmost love and creativity!

Absolutely love ❤️ when clients dream up colour combinations and reach out to make them happen.

I also loved creating the ‘travel’ word necklace for her. Not my usual recommendation for word necklace as it gets heavy but without the heaviest letters, it is just about perfect! She works in travel (so am I by the way in my day job), and really wanted a showpiece 😊.

So, do you have any dream colour combinations?

Important announcement 🚨

I’m currently away visiting family in India (after 3 years!), eating ALL the food, drinking far too much coffee and pretending I’m not checking my Handmade by Tinni orders every five minutes.

I’m back in the UK on 2 September 🇬🇧 — so any orders placed while I’m away will be packed and shipped as soon as I’m back.
Basically… the jewellery studio is temporarily closed, but the obsession continues. 😂

Thank you for your orders, your patience and for loving my colourful little creations as much as I love making them. 💛

Now, back to my holiday. Someone pass me another Mojito.

Yes!!!
Seeing Handmade by Tinni featured twice in the latest issue of Attire Accessories incorporating Gift Focus genuinely stopped me in my tracks.

One feature celebrates my colourful textile jewellery. The other shares my thoughts on how trade shows have helped grow my little business.

Some milestones deserve a little happy dance...

A heartfelt thank you to the editorial team at Attire Accessories incorporating Gift Focus for championing independent brands.

And thank you to the amazing Spring Fair team Spring & Autumn Fair and Theo Paphitis’ Small Business Sunday (SBS). Winning the SBS x Spring Fair competition gave Handmade by Tinni a platform I could only have dreamed of. The conversations, connections and retailer relationships that started there continue to shape my business today. The Crew Theo Paphitis

Most of all, thank you to every single one of you who has liked a post, shared my work, worn my jewellery, visited my stand or cheered me on. You are part of every milestone, and I never take that for granted. 💖

🌈 Colour Icon: Madeleine Bradbury Rance
Madeleine Bradbury Rance

Today I’m delighted to celebrate the wonderful Madeleine Bradbury Rance – an exceptional dramatic soprano whose powerful performances have earned her recognition as one of the most exciting young British voices.

Madeleine and I met through a Facebook group, and since then she’s been one of the most wonderful supporters of Handmade by Tinni. It means so much to see someone embrace my designs with such genuine joy and confidence.

Her style is instantly recognisable: vibrant dresses and skirts, her signature headbands, a radiant smile, and always the perfect statement jewellery—whether it’s one of my colourful necklaces, earrings, or both! She wears every piece with elegance, personality and a wonderful sense of fun.

Beyond the stage, Madeleine is passionate about education and outreach, inspiring communities through music in schools, prisons, nurseries and galleries. She truly embodies creativity, kindness and individuality.

Thank you, Madeleine, for believing in Handmade by Tinni and for showing that colour is something to be celebrated every single day. You wear joy so beautifully, and I’m so grateful to have you as part of our colourful community. 💖

A milestone I’ll never forget. ✨

I’m incredibly proud to share that Handmade by Tinni is now stocked in the shops at National Museums Liverpool, including the Walker Art Gallery.

This journey began with a wonderful conversation at Spring Fair, where I met the buying team and shared the story behind my colourful textile jewellery. We spoke about craftsmanship, contemporary design, and creating products with meaning. A few months later, that conversation has become a reality.

To know that my work now sits within one of the UK’s leading museum groups is something I don’t take for granted. As an independent designer, having my collections displayed in spaces that celebrate art, culture and creativity is exactly where I hope my work belongs.

Every necklace is handmade using traditional knotting techniques and organic cotton rope, designed to bring joy through colour while celebrating contemporary craftsmanship.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at National Museums Liverpool for believing in my work and giving Handmade by Tinni a place alongside so many inspiring artists and makers.

If you’re visiting Walker Art Gallery or any of the National Museums Liverpool shops, I’d love for you to stop by and discover my collection.

And if you’re a museum, gallery or cultural retailer looking for distinctive, design-led collections that celebrate contemporary craft, I’d love to hear from you.

Dream Collaboration with my IDOL✨

Being featured by Annie Sloan — someone whose work has completely shaped how we see and use colour in interiors — feels surreal.
Annie’s creative inspiration and my word necklace design… Three unique designs that define whimsical creativity.
Annie Sloan

Annie, your fearless approach to colour and your contribution to the world of paint and design has inspired so many of us (definitely me 🙋🏽‍♀️). So to see you not only notice my work, but actually style and wear it… I’m having a full fangirl moment.

Annie Sloan Making my life even more colourful with these necklaces from Bold, Colourful Statement Jewellery | Handmade by Paulomi

Colour js so important in my life both in my home and to a certain extent in my clothes. Colour brings well being and creativity.

I do like brightly patterned and bold clothes but I also love dramatic black to wear as it suits me (never white or beige!!) but I try to find bold jewellery and shoes etc!
These bold necklaces are so great! I’ve now ordered another to say BLUE but the colour will be green 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Simple things please me.

“Will it fit?”
It’s the question I’ve been asked most since introducing Cleo... and the answer is yes!

Cleo is adjustable, so you don’t need to worry about finding the perfect ring size.

✨ If it’s a little loose, gently press the ends together.
✨ If it’s a little snug, carefully ease it open by pressing your finger through the ring.

Just be gentle, and you’ll have a comfortable fit in seconds.
One less thing to worry about. One more reason to wear bold.

💬 Have you ever avoided buying a ring because you weren’t sure about the size?
