Last week we welcomed our first official Goldsmiths’ Company apprentice, , to Ryan Nelson London in a binding ceremony at Goldsmiths’ Hall.

With four years of graft ahead, we’ll be teaching him the age-old craft of handmade jewellery — doing our part to keep tradition alive. And of course, that’ll mean a few long weights, glass triblets, and maybe even a tin of tartan paint.
