This stunning 13.5 carat aquamarine necklace was remodelled from an existing ring that had been languishing unloved in a jewellery box for far too long! So we created a gorgeous necklace in 18 carat yellow gold that my client could wear everyday, inspired by my own lovely aquamarine necklace which I never take off! Kate also wanted her family birthstones to surround the aquamarine, providing a wonderful splash of rainbow colours against the blue hue of the main stone… Pink sapphire, tanzanite, emerald, tourmalines, garnet, amethyst and sparkling white diamonds represent her husband, children and her dear mum ❤️ The gold mount which holds the stones also has pretty cut out hearts on the sides as a sweet hidden detail. The creative process takes root from talking with my client, then drawing, then talking, then drawing until we’re ready to make the jewel of your dreams ! I never tire of this process as it’s so fascinating & emotional to hear all of the unique stories that are the starting point of a bespoke jewel ✨💎✨
