Some weddings just have that feeling about them… ✨

Tobias & Sophie celebrated their day in the most effortlessly stylish way, and these photos capture it perfectly 💛

We were lucky enough to create their wedding bands — Tobias chose a classic 4mm medium court band in 9ct yellow gold, while Sophie’s curved 18ct yellow gold band was designed to sit seamlessly alongside her engagement ring

Simple, personal, timeless — the kind of rings that feel as though they were always meant to be theirs ✨

You need to read this love story… ✨

What started with a Hinge date during lockdown ended with a wedding on a tiny island in Lake Maggiore 🤍

Phoebe & Simone met in 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic, when the world felt very strange and very small. Their first date took place on Clapham Common on 14th May - the first day people were finally allowed to sit in London parks again after restrictions lifted

And from that moment, everything changed

“It was love at first sight and we were pretty much together from that moment. A Cornish girl and an Italian boy in the city together. Simone proposed on the August bank holiday in 2023 back on the Common with a ring from E.C.One” - Phoebe 🤍

There’s something so special about returning to the place where it all began

The couple later married at Il Verbano on Isola dei Pescatori, a tiny fishing island on Lake Maggiore, around 40 minutes from where Simone grew up - surrounded by beautiful views, family, friends, and so much love

From Clapham Common to Lake Maggiore… we feel very lucky to have played a small part in their story 💫

We welcomed the lovely Emily Bull and her fiancé Rob in for a wedding band appointment - the start of something exciting 🤍

Some very pretty rings came through the workshop this week… too good not to share ✨

The team from Gold Dust Collective stopped by for a tour of our workshop and casting room

There were birthdays to celebrate (Nim & Charlotte 🎂), which of course meant Colin the Caterpillar cake (only a few negotiations over who got what slice)

Ali & Jo caught up with Rowina from Rosita Bonita Jewellery to chat through some beautiful new pieces we’ll have in the shop for this summer

Exmouth Market in the sunshine… always a highlight ☀️

And in the workshop? As busy as ever - but we wouldn’t have it any other way 🔨

No two days ever look quite the same. From sourcing gemstones in Hatton Garden, to checking finished pieces in the workshop, to keeping everything moving behind the scenes - it’s a role that brings together organisation, creativity, and a fair bit of problem-solving
