There’s something so special about the little treasures you find by the sea… a smooth pebble, a tiny shell, a piece of driftwood shaped by the waves.

Our Seashore collection began with that exact feeling. Many of these pieces are inspired by coastal finds Maggie has picked up on beach walks over the years — those small, beautiful objects that seem ordinary at first, but somehow hold a memory.

Chelsea is blooming this week, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect time to celebrate our own little garden of handmade jewellery 🌸

Chelsea in Bloom is transforming the streets around King’s Road with spectacular floral displays, running alongside Chelsea Flower Show week. This year’s theme is “Out of This World”, with over 140 shops, restaurants and hotels creating floral installations across the neighbourhood.

Here at Blackbird, flowers have always been part of our story. Maggie’s designs are often inspired by the garden, countryside walks, wildflowers, leaves, petals and the small natural details that catch your eye when you’re out and about.

Our flower jewellery collection includes delicate roses, daisies, daffodils, foxgloves, sunflowers and ivy leaves — each piece handmade in the UK in sterling silver or 18ct gold vermeil.

A little Friday evening look inside the charm trays ✨

One of the loveliest things about Blackbird is just how many tiny stories sit inside the studio. Hearts, shells, birds, flowers, lucky symbols, nature-inspired pieces and little keepsakes — all handmade in the UK and designed by Maggie.

A lot of Maggie’s inspiration comes from everyday moments: walks with family, a dander along the beach, British wildlife, flowers in season, a pebble picked up because it felt special… those little things that stay with you.

We also love helping customers create something more personal, whether that’s choosing a charm with meaning or adding a few special pieces to a bracelet.
