Somewhere in Britain, someone sits down and builds your watch by hand — starting the moment you order it.

This isn't a watch pulled off a shelf and boxed up. The case is solid 316L marine-grade steel, machined to still look sharp in twenty years. The guilloché dial is set into the case by hand. The movement is a Swiss-made Sellita automatic, fitted and regulated properly — never rushed through to hit a shipping deadline.

Which means there's a genuine limit on how many we can build before the next batch of movements arrives from Switzerland.

We showed a visitor the Super-LumiNova on our Manta & Ripple watches at the Southampton Watch Show. His reaction: “I’m a lume slut!”

New one on us, honestly. We talk lume love. But we’d never heard of a lume slut. Thirty-five years married, and he still lit up like it was Christmas.

That’s the thing about watch fairs nobody warns you about: the people. Some of them know as much about our own watches as we do — thorough, passionate, and properly funny with it.
