Seiko on Show

Seiko's Power Design Project 2026 gave seven of its in-house designers complete creative freedom to fixate on one single part of watchmaking and take it as far as it can go - from machining marks to dial texture, hands to indices.

The result is seven fully working concept watches, each one an exercise in obsession rather than commercial design. None are built for production. All of them are built to prove a point the beauty of all parts of watchmaking.

Two roads, one legacy

Marking a legacy of innovation that began in 1969, when the Seiko Speedtimer became the world's first automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch, these two Prospex Speedtimer 'Grand Touring' timepieces celebrate the timeless elegance of long-distance driving in style.

Both draw their inspiration from endless coastal highways, captured in an embossed dial and a super hard-coated bezel carrying a tachymeter, built on the SRQ047 design.

Powered by the in-house 8R48 mechanical chronograph calibre, which unites a vertical clutch and column wheel for precise measurement of elapsed time, both are housed in a 42mm case measuring 49.5mm lug to lug.

Practical, reliable and durable, true to the Prospex name.

Every road leads from Tokyo

Channelling archive inspiration from the iconic 1970s collection of the same name, introducing the King Seiko VANAC 'Tokyo Highway' in Titanium Night Black.

Named after the birthplace of King Seiko, this design takes the megacity's vast network of expressways, radiating outward from its centre, as inspiration for its lightly horizontally-patterned black dial.

Powered by the new in-house 8L45 mechanical calibre, it is built to the highest accuracy of Seiko's mechanical movements, keeping time to +10/-5 seconds per day with a three-day power reserve.

Six decades of the deep

Marking 60 years since the 1965 launch of Japan's, and Seiko's, first ever Diver's watch, this limited edition Prospex draws inspiration from the '62MAS' 1965 Diver - a watch so dependable it accompanied the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition team on four occasions, and later reached the North and South Poles and the summit of Everest.

To mark the anniversary, Seiko fans were invited to vote for their favourite design, each capturing the ever-changing colours of the sea as time flows from sunrise to sunset. The most voted-for model was 'Daytime.'

Inspired by the way sunlight glimmers across the water, its vibrant blue dial is embossed with a wave-like pattern, powered by the in-house 6R55 automatic calibre with a three-day power reserve and accuracy of -15/+25 seconds per day, this Air Diver is water resistant to 300m.

The World in 3 Seconds

The Seiko 145th Anniversary Astron GPS Solar, Limited Edition in Edo Purple, is available to pre-order now in the UK.

Wherever you are, this watch finds the time. One push of a button, and satellites do the rest - no manual guesswork, just instant local time.

Beneath dual-curved sapphire glass, a dial inspired by the twilight sky echoes Edo Murasaki - a colour born from old Tokyo. Titanium, ceramic, and gold-coloured accents complete the look, with a limited edition engraving marking 145 years since it all began.

Continuing A Laurel Legacy

Introducing two new additions to the Seiko Presage Craftsmanship collection, now available to pre-order in the UK.

Paying homage to Seiko's and Japan's first ever wristwatch, the 1913 Laurel, these timepieces reinterpret that iconic design through two traditional Japanese crafts. The lustrous white enamel dial and deep black Urushi lacquer dial each reflect the artistry and heritage of Japanese watchmaking.

Powered by the in-house 6R5H automatic calibre with a 72-hour power reserve, both models combine timeless design with contemporary mechanical watchmaking.

Crafting watchmaking with botanical precision

Created in collaboration with Tradman's Bonsai, this limited edition Presage timepiece celebrates the centuries-old Japanese art of bonsai-keeping through contemporary watchmaking.

Inspired by the traditional crescent-shaped bonsai 'moon' pot and the silhouette of a black pine beneath moonlight, its deep green dial is presented in the traditional Matsuba-Iro shade and features a newly developed embossed pattern that echoes the texture of aged pine bark.

Powered by the in-house 6R51 automatic calibre with a 72-hour power reserve, this limited edition is a refined expression of Japanese craftsmanship, tradition and design.
