💎 Pentagonite vs Cavansite — spot the real differences 👀

They might share that same electric blue glow… but here’s where it gets interesting:

✨ Crystal shape
Pentagonite grows in sharp, starburst sprays with elongated, blade-like crystals.
Cavansite forms rounded, pom-pom clusters made of tiny prismatic crystals.

✨ Rarity
Pentagonite is significantly rarer — a true collector’s flex.
Cavansite is more commonly found (but still highly sought-after!).

✨ Formation
Pentagonite is actually a polymorph of Cavansite — same chemistry, different crystal structure 🔬

✨ Locality vibes
Both are famously found in the Deccan Traps of India, often on stilbite matrix… but Pentagonite shows up far less frequently.

✨ Overall aesthetic
Pentagonite = bold, spiky, dramatic
Cavansite = soft, rounded, velvety

✨ Collector tip
If it looks like a perfect blue “flower ball” 🌸 it’s likely Cavansite.
