The antler shedding is coming to a close, it’s just the smaller ones now but I still managed to find 5 this morning and the smaller ones are great for making the beads. Not entirely sure if this was a pair or not.

Continuing with the fluffy animals I bought this curly Alpaca yarn to try more highland cows but thought it would make better sheep so gave it a go. I’m tending to think it’s more haggis than sheep but it will probably look better in white.

Here’s the finished coo hat with bobble. Next one will have a few minor tweaks but it’s a fun hat.

People often ask about blocking and why do it. Hopefully this pic shows the difference. The hat is blocked and the headband hasn’t been done yet. You can see how blocking evens it all out and makes the wool bloom. It gives it a much better finish.
