🔧 Innovation Through In-House Development

Zenith, part of Coriant Group, has developed a new folding platform for its confined space access equipment, improving efficiency, accessibility, and safety.

Built using direct feedback from site operatives, our Engineering, Product Development, and Fabrication teams designed, prototyped, and tested the platform entirely in-house.

Key developments:
🔹 Multiple design iterations
🔹 Lightweight aluminium and stainless steel components
🔹 Full in-house 3D modelling, fabrication, and testing
🔹 Folding design for safer, easier access

Highlights:
✔️ Based on real operational feedback
✔️ Improved usability and installation efficiency
✔️ 250 kg Safe Working Load (ongoing testing)
✔️ Continued focus on innovation and improvement

Zenith part of Coriant Group recently completed a major flare stack refurbishment at ExxonMobil’s Mossmorran Facility.

Working in partnership with ExxonMobil, we delivered a full in-house solution – from inspection and structural analysis to specialist access, lifting, and refurbishment.

✅ 25m riser replacement
✅ 10t flare tip removal & installation
✅ All works completed safely at height using specialist techniques

🏰 Castle Stonework Inspection

Zenith, part of Coriant Group, completed a rope access inspection of historic castle stonework to support its preservation.

Scope:
🔹 Inspect stonework for cracks, wear, and deterioration
🔹 Hands-on condition assessment
🔹 Report findings to HES team
🔹 Safe removal of access systems
🔹 Site clean-up and демobilisation

Highlights:
✔️ Safe access to hard-to-reach areas
✔️ Detailed reporting for conservation planning
✔️ Minimal disruption to the structure

Zenith, part of Coriant Group, Proudly Sponsors Lexi 🥋

Junior international Taekwondo competitor Lexi Knox recently competed at the British Taekwondo International Open 2026, held at the HSBC National Cycling Centre in Manchester.

Representing Team Raw Taekwondo Scotland, Lexi competed against some of the world’s top athletes in an extremely competitive field.

Typically fighting in the Junior Female -42kg category, Lexi stepped up a weight division for this event, entering the -44kg category. Demonstrating impressive determination and adaptability, she secured a bronze medal after a tough semi-final against a strong Irish opponent.

Her coach praised her performance, describing it as:

“A well-focused and mature performance.”

🏭 Drone Inspection – Steel Chimney Survey

Zenith carried out a drone inspection, capturing high-resolution imagery to identify key safety and maintenance issues without intrusive access.

Findings: Corrosion to ladders and platforms, missing rungs, coating failures, faulty warning lights, and a weld defect.

Recommendations: Restrict access, replace damaged steelwork, repair coatings, reinstate lighting, and carry out ongoing inspections in line with ATLAS guidance.

Using UAVs, Zenith delivered a fast, safe assessment with clear engineering solutions.

📍 City Observatory Dome – Calton Hill

Zenith recently completed specialist maintenance works at the City Observatory, resolving a water ingress issue within the dome.

✅ Replaced worn door gasket
✅ Installed a new gasket at the ingress point
✅ Completed sealing works to restore weatherproofing

All works were carried out with care in this historic setting, and the dome is now fully sealed and protected.

🔥 Critical Flare Stack Repair – Greece

Zenith part of Coriant Group was rapidly mobilised to support an urgent structural repair at a major refinery in Greece during a narrow turnaround window.

A senior rope access team safely completed complex works on a 136 m flare stack, replacing severely corroded steel supports and restoring full structural integrity — all within a critical outage period.

This project demonstrates Zenith’s ability to deliver fast, safe solutions in high‑risk, time‑critical environments.

🏭 Project Update – Poolbeg Generating Station, Dublin

Zenith, part of the Coriant Group, is currently delivering specialist access solutions at Poolbeg Generating Station, supporting strengthening works on HRSG Chimneys 14 & 15.

Working within a live power generation environment, our team is installing and operating suspended access systems to enable safe internal repairs at height. Works are currently underway on Chimney 14, with the team moving on to Chimney 15 on completion.

This project showcases Zenith’s ability to deliver engineered access solutions safely and efficiently in complex, high‑risk industrial environments
