Just a reminder if you’re having a tough time to keep the faith and never give up. If running has taught me anything (and it’s taught me soooo much, especially about how weak my bladder is 😂) it’s that we can do hard things.

Life is too short to wait

I’ve got some beautiful silks at the moment and I’ve paired them with quotes that really mean a lot to me to make some extra special bracelets. I’ve been making jewellery both as a refuge and a reminder that the small things I do in life can do good things. Even if it’s just to look at some words on your wrist and feel that you can do the hard stuff and that there is so much good more to come than has already passed.
It’s been 6 weeks since Mum died and I’ve been trying to navigate a new reality. In many ways it’s like being in two separate universes, sometimes here, sometimes there, mostly one foot in each. I’m so grateful for the peace I can find in the earth under my feet and the birds in the skies, it reminds me that whatever happens in our own small stories there is such immense beauty and hope within and all around us 💙

It’s been a minute and I’m sorry I’ve been off the radar.

This year has had us in a chokehold that refuses to let up.

After major surgery for me in January and massive challenges with my Dad’s dementia, my lovely Mum passed away the week before last 💔

Our little band of three have held fast and their love has carried me home so many times when I’ve found myself lost.

I’ve been trying to stay as grounded as I can and as always I’ve taken refuge and comfort in nature. The beauty of the shore, the sea, the fields and the woods have reminded me, especially in summer, that we are all part of the same eternal dance.

Jewellery making has taken a back seat but it’s also my living as well as my creative outlet, I need it in so many ways.
