One Life Design Handmade Jewellery, Gifts and Keepsakes to motivate, inspire and delight. Every item is unique and h It all started with one bangle I made for myself.

A simple metal cuff bangle with a couple of stars (as those close to me know is 'my thing') and the words 'Life is too short to wait' which had become my motto. I loved looking at it when I needed encouragement, it reminded me, helped me. It also looked pretty awesome! A friend asked me to make one similar, then a customer ordered a very motivational and non running related necklace from RunBling.

It got me thinking...
I wanted to create pieces that do more than just look good. I wanted to create items that evoke memories, inspire, encourage, comfort and motivate. I love the idea that every single piece is completely unique in it's own right and will have been created to bring happiness, mark occasions and even help a little. One Life Design will not have a website, everything will be made to order direct from this page uniquely to your own wishes. Whatever the event, occasion, gift, keepsake, memory or emotion, something beautiful can be created. From wallet inserts, bookmarks, keyrings and wine glass charms through to bracelets and necklaces. You'll find something perfect for us to create together. I hope my pieces bring just a little sparkle into your life, they're made with great care and love

Japanese Biwa pearls are deeply rooted in symbolism, particularly around prosperity and good fortune as well as encouraging wise decisions and harmony in mind and spirit.
Born from nature these pearls are completely nacre which gives them their extraordinary iridescent colour and lustre, they are ridiculously beautiful.
I wanted to use them to make something really wearable and joyful and it took me ages but I absolutely love this necklace. The pearls are surrounded by delicate Japanese Miyuki beads in earth and ocean tones accented with sterling silver and 14k gold findings.

‘This is the beginning of anything you want 🌅’

Well this is as much for me as it is for you.
Many of you already know that things have been really tough in my life lately and as we hit sweet midsummer I couldn’t help but reflect that I’m not anywhere I thought I’d be at this point in the year. Have any of you done that too I wonder?
But one of the best things that running has taught me is that at any point in my day, my week, my life, I can hit the reset button and allow myself to plan and dream and hope. And surely that’s got to be one of the most magical things about this life, the newness of every moment?
So I made this for anyone who, like me, needs a timely reminder that at any second, this is the beginning of anything you want ###💕

Well…it’s been a while.
There’s been a whole lot going on and I wouldn’t know where to even begin. I haven’t been able to work for so long and I wanted to come back with something special, something meaningful.
The Goddess Pendant - a symbol of feminine energy but so much more than that.
This is a reminder to ourselves to step into our power at whatever stage we are in our life’s journey and embrace our sacred beauty. Yes, we will change but that change is an evolution of our beauty and divinity. It’s not a loss, it’s a growth and a constant rebirth of who we are.
I think this is one of the most powerful and relevant pieces of jewellery I have made and I love everything it represents.
This isn’t a necklace, it’s a Talisman.
