Here is one of my current WIP's for day 3 of 🖍
I usually hand draw most of my patterns, but i'm trying to learn something new and translate them digitally using . I originally created this pattern sketch as part of .

I really like working on this scale, sometimes I find a big white piece of paper or blank sketchbook a bit intimidating 🥺 but a postcard is easy to work with and great for creating pattern swatches!

All about me 🪩✨

The face and name behind HelloJennie. My studio is my happy space and is NEVER usually this tidy!!! (yes.. I put everything on the floor for the photo 😂)

Hmm, a few things about me...

✨ If you can't tell already, pink is my favourite colour 🙌

✨ I'm happiest doodling with my posca pens in my little yellow sketchbook ✍️

✨ I have a degree in fine art and a masters degree in surface pattern 🎓

✨ I know the Harry Potter audio by heart! Test me, I dare you!!

✨ If I had to wear a uniform, it'd be dungarees, a white tee, colourful cardi and white trainers 👍

✨ My day job is as an art technician in a sixth form.

It's day 1 of ! 👍In a slight twist on 'Brand Origin', I figured i'd use to re-invent my brand/name/title, whatever you want to call it!Yesterday, I teased about a little suprise on my stories, so here it is... Freckle&Me will now become HelloJennie Design Studio 🥳📣👏

I've been thinking long and hard about for the last few months, I loved Freckle&Me at first, but the more i've used it, the less it felt like me and what I wanted to show of myself 🤷‍♀️ I wanted something simpler but also colourful and quirky, I also wanted a brand name that could span a wide range of products or applications.

So here is my little brain child, HelloJennie 🪩I'll be slowly changing my insta, website, etsy etc over the course of , so keep your 👀 peeled for some newess coming your way 💥

The years nearly over, the shop is on holiday mode and it's gin in hand 🙌

I just wanted to say a MAHOOSIVE thank you to everyone who has supported me this year. You all know who you are, my family, my friends, my customers, my new online friends, my new market friends 💕

It's been a year of change, new starts, experiments and challenges.
But it's also been a year full of laughs, colorful earrings, and lots of happy dances every time the cha-ching sound went off from the app 😝

So here's to you, here's to a better year next year, and here's to a wonderful and very Merry Christmas to you all 🎄🎅🎁🍾
