Work on my village scene continues Since there was nothing to do once i sent the GN brake van back to its owner i started and finished the churchyard scene for my layout i must say i thoroughly enjoyed doing this and it was nice to be able to work on it at the kitchen table instead of contorting around my loft beams for three days lol

So ive finished the back of the shops and the church and placed them on the layout to picture the end result now to start work on the hill from the lower part of the village to the church wich will eventually have a bridge going over the railway not quite sure about the final position of the lich gate yet well see how things work out anyway heres a few pics so you can vision for yourselves what im up to

So my next focus on my layout (East Lindsey Railway) over the coming months will be on my village scene wich up to now has been empty apart from the pub i built for it some time ago now work on this has been long overdue and these shops i think have been a fantastic start i have rear terraced houses kit to start tommorow to go on the back of these and a church on its way to me well done metcalfe for producing an awesome kit very satisfying to look back at

Well thats it all the volunteers have gone home and all the engines are tucked away in the shed for the festive season and with that all thats left to say is merry christmas and a happy new year thank you sooo so much for your support this year its been amazing
