Stainless steel lasered yesterday, this is a ceramic type finish very weather durable. Off to a customer to go with the ones I did last year.

Nice way to add names to boards or benches.

January's been busy here with the normal orders but we love a challenge so when a customer asks us to laser an instrument panel we work and test til it's right.

Turns out frosted glass lasers pretty well, even better than the trials on normal glass!

This is part of a machine that needs precise measurements, the markings had been painted on but had long since been wiped off. Wee stint on the laser, problem solved - markings visible forever!

Love how versatile this machine is, now to do some more trials for some other projects!

Since taking over LaserFlair it was always my intention to integrate it more into my furniture making.

I drew the products using Corel and have manipulated those shapes to give me templates for cutting parts.

These templates are now being used to make some Japanese gates and bridge.

The shape was checked in situ after being cut in ply, today the dovetail added to accurately repeat x 16 cut parts.

Now they're easily replicated and there was no fiddly template cutting by hand, takes far less time out my day.

These will be cut on the bandsaw and chiselled clean by hand.

Technology just adding another degree of accuracy into the process.

Not only can we do logo's on things, we can make the products too...in conjunction with our furniture workshop . Lovely flower presses for workshops.

We do a lot of development work behind the scenes to bring these products to life!

What's even more brilliant is that it was designed by Fiona and made within about 10miles !
