I find it hard to photograph the sterling silver earring studs as they are so small.
This time I have tried making short videos of each pair to show off how they look from different angles as a photograph can make things look quite one dimensional.
This new batch of earrings includes earrings made from pale pink neon beach sandals, a yellow pneumatic roller used when you are canoeing down a river, orange neon pool float, purple inflatable chair, green and blue paddling pools, and inflatable animal toys"inflatimals".
Does the video idea work do you think? Or would a close up photograph work better?
This month I'll be at
on Saturday 6th June 9.30am-1.30pm
Scotland's Gardens Open Day Sunday 7th June 2-5pm
"Makers Mark" exhibition from 18th-29th June Wed-Sun 11am-4pm
Sat 27th June 12-6pm
Wed-Sun 11am-5pm

It is really important to both myself and that as much as possible is reused, creating a circular economy, stopping waste going into landfill.
For those of you who don't know Edinburgh Zoo donate their broken "inflatimals" - inflatable animal toys - to me to create new upcycled products.
I went the other day to collect them. Watch this space for what they become 😊
If you have any suggestions of what I can make please comment below 😊

Eddie is the maker behind . Him and Alan make and sell delicious banana pudding which are dairy and gluten free.
It is important to me as a maker to network at markets. It helps to get through the slower times and makes the experience of being at a market more enjoyable as a seller.
Eddie also supported me by buying 3 of my brooches on a slower day. It really makes the difference!
If you can support small businesses, please do, it means the world to us.
Thank you.
And if you are in Glasgow please check out SpoonMe 😊

At my last market I decided to place one key ring per hook, anymore was looking quite untidy with having the cards with the product's story attached.
A customer was interested in particular keyring and it took me a while to find it in the box as there were so many.
I did find it in the end! 😊
When is got home I had a brainwave wave . . . Why not use a hair tie or upcycle elastic from a previous product, linking each type together?!
It has made my life less complicated by making them easier to find! 😊
By writing this post also I also realised I wanted to show you the different types and write about their stories.
Four of the upcycled plastic ones are made from inflatable toys, either from the bottom using the blow up valve, or from the neck of the animal inflatable where the white circular valve and the outer casing was attached. This valve is what make the noise when a child squeezes the toy.
The pompom keyrings are made from knitting machine wool which splits regularly and couldn't be used for it's original purpose.
The discarded textile keyrings are stitched on the sewing machine and can shimmer with the net I included in the design.

Do you have any random inflatables like these horses in the back of a cupboard, shed or garage?
Or any baby or animal mats witha puncture?
Have you had a party recently and don't know what to do with the random accessories?
An inflatable walker anyone?
Or an inflatable walking stick?
Yes please I cry!
I can cut up these discarded inflatables and give themasecond life, keeping them fromlandfill.
DM me if you want to donate any disused inflatables.
Follow me if you want to find out what these become . . .
Thank you to for donating these a few weeks ago.
