Approximately 10 years ago, having 2 toddlers and suffering with Post Natal Depression and anxiety, I started making macrame bracelets to help deal with my illness. Little did I know that people would like what I made so I started gifting them to family and friends, who then started asking if I would sell them. After a year or 2 a friend advertised a stamping kit for sale and I was intrigued so us
ed my birthday money to buy the kit, expanding the jewellery I was making. I sold stamped pieces quite successfully for 5 years but after injuring my hand I found it starting to get painful. I didn't want to give up crafting or stamping so when my mum showed me some gorgeous bottles with vinyl designs on I started collecting wine bottles. cleaning and santising them and buying ready cut vinyls. After a very successful christmas of selling I had saved enough to buy my own cutting machine. Now expanding in to different types of vinyl and most recently personalised mugs and photo products. I still suffer with anxiety and depression but my crafting has always helped. The fact that people like what I do enough to part with there hard earned money is an absolute honour and priveledge. I love crafting, the friendships I have made crafting and the joy every single sale brings :D
