The inspiration for my Serena bridal haircomb and matching hairpins if the wild tumble of wild flowers, leaves and grasses that you see in a meadow in the height of summer, one of my favourite places to be! All the leaves are handmade and beaded detail can be made in a variety of colours on request - I have a lot of gorgeous glass beads to choose from. (If you look at my last reel, you can see how changing the beads, even within the same palette can change the feel of a design)

If you want to make more of a statement, you can add some of my Serena hair pins to tuck in where you want, you can see this in the 3rd photo. I love it, it's delicate and intricate and makes a statement whilst remaining subtle.

DM me if you'd like to talk about customising one of my designs for your wedding 🙂

Leaf Jewellery to complement my handmade wedding accessories. Tiny handmade silver wire or gold plated wire leaves to bring a finishing touch for a nature inspired wedding. Some feature beaded flowers - these are perfect for adding a touch of colour, and can also be made with beads to match a colour theme for for bridesmaids, like those in the last picture designed for an autumn wedding last year.

Delicate and subtle, here is the Elisabetta hairvine featured in my last reel. One of my favourites to make- I love creating all those tiny leaves by hand! Perfect for a nature inspired wedding, thing gardens, woodlands and wild spaces. Shown here in gold plated wire, but can also be made in other wires such as silver plated wire, and you can customise the bead colours to pick out your wedding colours if you'd like a touch of colour.

I absolutely love working with brides to create something bespoke for your wedding day. It's such an honour to be entrusted with making your wedding jewellery or accessories and it's lovely to share in the excitement of getting ready for your big day.

Working with me in person at the studio or virtually, means that you can be part of the creative process and together we’ll create a one of a kind wedding headpiece or bridal jewellery that will be just yours.

As part of the process we’ll look at your dress, your wedding theme and your style and we'll narrow down your inspiration into a concept. I’ll make notes and perhaps some rough sketches during your free, no obligation, consultation.

You might just want some colour adding or changing on one of my existing designs, or you might want something completely unique designing, either way I'd love to talk to you about your wedding, so get in touch if you'd like to make an appointment

All of my designs are designed and handmade by me in my studio, I've got 21 years experience of making jewellery and accessories, so all of that contributes to the quality of my work and the uniqueness of my designs and my ability to adapt my ideas to suit you and your wedding.

Over on my website you'll see my range of haircombs, headpieces, hairpins and jewellery. I use quality wires and beautiful glass beads in an enormous range of colours. Some designs are made in silver and feature freshwater pearls and mother of pearl too.

Many of my designs feature wire leaves, these have all been made by hand, by me, I don't use manufactured decorative components in my designs. I start each design with rolls of wire and pots of beads, my pliers and my hands.

Pop over to my website to see more and if my work inspires you, but you don't see exactly what you are looking for, do get in touch for a chat. I'd love to hear about your wedding plans!

I thought it was time to say hello to new followers and give you all a bit of background to my business and my making experience, so read on!

I've been in business since 2004 and am always creating new jewellery and wedding accessory designs, as well as developing the way I work. I come from a textile background, with a degree in Embroidery, which set me off on a path of discovery exploring delicate details, subtle colour combinations and intricate textures. I have been running since 2004 too.

My latest wedding accessory and jewellery designs are inspired by my love of nature. I've spent many hours walking around the Staffordshire Moorlands on the edge of the Peak District where I live, taking photos of the tiny wildflowers and foliage that come and go through the seasons. I have collections of designs that you can see on my website, but also love to make bespoke pieces too. Add some colour, change a colour, a totally new design? Get in touch for a chat!

I have a nostalgia for the jewellery and fashions of eras gone by too. I love the elegance and detailed finish of Edwardian and Victorian jewellery and dress and the sumptuous fabrics and embroidery of the twenties and thirties, both have an influence on my style. My style is ultra feminine, sometimes pretty, sometimes classic, sometimes contemporary but always elegant and infinitely wearable today.

I work from my lovely studio in Leek, Staffordshire, above a quirky cafe which is open to visitors. For a free bridal consultation, do make an appointment though so I can concentrate completely on YOU!

OOps! It's been some time since I have posted - I am so sorry! I've had a somewhat difficult last year, a badly broken ankle last summer, followed eventually by surgery in February, with a total of 5 months when I couldn't given get up the many stairs to my studio, let alone do any work. I've been back a while now, and at last I'm crutch free! However, I have been concentrating on doing the work that brings in the income rather than posting on all the socials. I'll try to do better. I am here. I am still making and have lovely accessories if you are getting married! 🙂

Just had surgery on my ankle, so am away from the studio for a couple of weeks. However, if you are getting married from late March onwards, I'd love to discuss your handmade wedding accessories, so drop me a DM to get the conversation started. In the meantime you'll find me on the sofa!
