Bernard Midgley Jewellery Contemporary jeweller & silversmith designer, maker, tutor & managing director of Jewellery Workshop I am the proud father of four daughters.

I was traditionally trained as a jeweller and silversmith in the 1970’s. More recently I studied at Leeds College of Art and graduated with a BA (hons) in Design from Leeds Metropolitan University. My career background was based in financial services and management, while always yearning to follow my artistic side. Ten years ago I launched a successful business buying, renovating and selling antiq

ue and vintage jewellery which led to realising my ambition of designing and making jewellery and teaching classes and workshops. I have set up a jewellery making workshop to offer tuition and access to equipment with the option of ongoing support. Such a setting, I believe can be instrumental in raising confidence in aspiring jewellers. I am Yorkshire born and bred and live in Leeds with my partner Jane.
