💔My Great Uncle Ralph was just 21 years old when he was gunned down early in WW2 .
He had volunteered , like thousands of brave young men , to be a Rear Gunner , scanning the skies for enemy fighters and giving crews precious minutes to make decisions .
My Mum says her Dad , my Grandfather who I never met , was a Stoker , he was meant to be on the doomed HMS Edinburgh but was relocated at the last minute , this saved his life . Sadly he passed away when my Mum was only 19 , from cancer . I was born a few years later .
We must never forget the ultimate sacrifice made ❤️🌺

A busy but productive day !
1st pit stop ! the famous Birmingham Jewellery Quarter to pick up finished pieces and sort out orders .
2nd pit stop , delivering Fingerprint jewellery orders to our friends A. W. Lymn The Family Funeral Service in Nottingham ❤️ it’s always great to see Lucinda and catch up !
3rd pit stop , a brand new FD and exciting new business venture in Matlock , Grave Expectations , to see Beccy and deliver our marble fingerprint jewellery display 😃we look forward to helping her families choose a sustainable special keepsake 🙏 4th pit stop , a lovely country pub and a well deserved drink 😂

Cemeteries offer a green haven for our wildlife even in an urban environment .
As I was contemplating the broken , dusty headstones , I was being watched 🦌 She didn’t take flight , we were both still and quiet .
A reminder that life goes on and there is beauty all around us

As a wife of a life long LUFC fan , I can see how important the Commerative space is at Centenary Square @ Elland Road .
Creating a Memorial to honour a loved one is very special and to extend that to a piece of jewellery helps to keep them close .
