Sometimes admitting you’re burning out is the first step

After months of churn and nonstop everything, going from one job to the next, I needed to do something different to flex the creative muscle that birthed Aether & Nox in the first place

Because not all ‘making’ within a handmade business is the same

One of the great things about markets is I get to try out one of a kind pieces and get immediate feedback

One of the annoying things is markets can sometimes be quiet, usually due to weather, so at this one I tried some photos with the natural light

What do we think?

Ps these won’t be with me at The Piece Hall this weekend because I won’t be there because of this damn storm soon going to build a wardrobe instead 🤷‍♂️

Yes a new vocal stim has been unlocked

Shoutout to and for the lovely warm welcomes and chats today as I flew in and out dropping off plenty of new (overdue) stock 😅

Side notes I didn’t get to voiceover, mainly about trains:
- the trains were all on time today woo
- emergency train Starbucks obviously
- the train to Sheffield was v busy
- I was chatting to Anita too long in In The Making and had to run for my train hence the dramatic panting
- emergency meal deal not pictured
- 5 sudokus were completed on the trains whilst thinking of content ideas
- I was home by 3pm woo!
Same again next month? 👀😂

So excited to be back at HCMM this Saturday after what has felt like a lifetime!
Regular Wellington Place 2 weeks today with Real Markets Yorkshire, and rounding out the month with The Piece Hall again woo!

A week since I got back from Top Drawer and I owe you the rest of my thoughts, feelings, etc etc etc

Luckily Monday was busier so I had the lovely chats I was asking for woo! We managed to add some more amazing shops to our list of stockists & see lots of familiar faces too!

Monday evening was topped with seeing Vanessa Williams in The Devil Wears Prada during her final week as Miranda! Soooo good and fun!

Tuesday was quieter as every show is, but still lovely! Luckily pack down went swimmingly and we were back home by 9:45pm

It’s nice to know trade show season 2026 is now officially overrrrr
