Andy Burnham has announced an ambitious plan to strengthen Britain's beloved biscuits, ensuring they can withstand even the most vigorous dunking in a proper cup of tea. His proposed Biscuit Resilience Programme will invest in tougher wheat, reinforced crumb technology and a special coating designed to prevent biscuits collapsing into the nation's mugs. But remember, this is made up.

A funeral director I spoke to today shared something that made me think 🤔

Years ago, whenever two hearses from different firms passed each other, the drivers would tip their hats in acknowledgement of each other.

A small gesture that said a lot.

It got me thinking about how funeral directors support each other within their towns and villages. An extra pair of hands, help with transport, or someone at the end of the phone when the day takes an unexpected turn.

Different businesses, serving the same community.
