A little note from the Highlands…

If you’ve noticed things have been a little quieter around here lately, it’s because I’ve been taking something I don’t do nearly enough of….a proper rest.

Jack and I escaped to the north of Scotland for a reset. We were paddleboarding on beautiful lochs, wandering through forests, cold water dipping on our campervan adventure ….. and finding moments of calm through meditation. No deadlines. No rushing. Just space to breathe.

As someone who pours so much of themselves into creating meaningful pieces and running a small business, it’s easy to forget that creativity needs time to refill too.

This last week has been exactly what I needed.

Time with my boy, time in nature, and time to simply be.

I’m coming back feeling grounded, inspired, and incredibly grateful.

Thank you for being here while I took a little pause. ❤️

S O U L F U L S O L I T U D E . ✨

Sometimes the way out is in.....

No noise.
No rushing.
No pressure to be anywhere other than right here.

Just me, Maya, the deep woods, and the warmth of the sun pouring through the trees like healing energy. 🌲☀️🐾

There’s something sacred about these quiet moments… when the world softens enough for you to actually hear yourself again. Sitting here beside my soul dog, breathing in the stillness, I was reminded that life isn’t always about chasing the next thing. Sometimes it’s about allowing yourself to simply exist within a moment beautiful enough to hold you exactly as you are.

The sunlight on my skin.
The earth beneath my feet.
The steady presence of Maya beside me.
Peace.

And for a little while, that was everything.

Maybe healing isn’t always loud.
Maybe sometimes it looks like sitting in the forest with the one soul who understands you without words… remembering who you are beneath all the overwhelm.

Today, I let the sun in and sit in the gratitude of what is.
