We shall then be reopening from the 26th of August via appointment only. This is due to the existing news that we are expecting a baby in the region of the 26th of August.

We are open !!!

We have moved to 16 Park street - same street just on the other side of the road

It has been just over a year since the electric Mustang wrongly parked into our shop....

We are currently emptying and moving everything out of unit 2 park street to allow the builders from the 27th of January to work their magic. If all goes well we shall be back by the end of March.

In the meantime we are still open and trading. We will be temporarily located at 16 park street from Saturday 25th.

It has been a year of stress not knowing what was going to happen to the building and when. A year of stress battling with the insurance company.

For those who don't know, the aftermath of the accident created a shift in the structure of our shop and moved it by 2 inches. Consequently the shop front and part of the side walls are going to be demolished and rebuilt. This is estimated to take 8 weeks ...

Despite it all we are so very lucky! One because no one was hurt even though we were standing right by the front door inside the shop when it happened and two because we are able to move into a shop right opposite to us!!!

We will be open with the same opening days and times.

The customer came to me asking for an emerald engagement ring which needed to be minimalist and not traditional and had to include the 3 children in some ways.....

So there it is!

We hand carved out of wax and cast in 14carat gold a very smooth and flowing pear shape ring to be set with a pear cut emerald in a flush setting style. Then we create out of 14carat gold round wire a fitted ring with 3 evenly spaced rubbover settings for the children's birthstones. As 2 of the children are sapphire and the 3rd one emerald, we chose two different tones of blue one deep blue and one ceylan to individualise each of them.

Can you tell this is a memorial ring?
One of our specialties is to fuse ashes with metal which then becomes invisible to the eye. This means that no one has to know if you don't wish to tell anyone and the ashes cannot break loose....

We combined multiple handcrafted techniques to create this bespoke design. First we wax carved the fluid shape which then was cast in silver and we made the silver band from sheet to keep a smooth even shape. Then we melted the customer gold with ashes to add the featured wire on top of it all.

We created a pendant with a dangling diamond in the center using the customer's inherited jewellery. For this we used the plain platinum band to make a heart and the diamond solitaire . We also completely refurbished the setting by retipping each claw.

As we leap into 2025 we are looking back at what had been a very busy 2024.

As everyone knows, we don't share very often so we have compiled a small selection of rings we made last year which are a mix between one off commission, transformation and memorial keepsakes.

Happy New Year 2025!

Thank you so much for all the support you have given us last year, what a busy year it has been!

We are now reopened and ready for the new year ahead. We are looking forward to seeing you all soon.

Open Monday to Saturday 9 am until 5 pm
Closed Wednesdays and Sundays

We shall soon share the plans for the next few weeks when the work on the shop shall start.
