Everything polished, buffed and ready for Christmas Fair this weekend.
I like to try the layout before I go to a fair, it changes every time with new makes.
Next steps- pack it all away ready for Saturday!!

I finally got round to setting the fordite! So I decided on 3 pendants, a ring and a pair of earrings

I can never resist some pieces of Fordite from .creek.rocks. Thank you Jill!
So now trying to decide what to make with them..
I think there will definitely be a pair of Op Art earrings! Maybe a pendant or two and rings!

All packed up and off to Birmingham Assay Office for hallmarking.
I finished off another bangle yesterday with a piece of seaglass. Another Wonky Donkey special, all made with recycled sterling silver. 😀

Do you like pendants with texture? This one is really tactile!
It is made by heating and reheating silver to the point where it is on the edge of becoming molten liquid, then shaping and forming it.
It is fastened with a T bar fitment, which I left plain for balance
It is attached to a belcher chain, which is approximately 50 mm (20 inches ).
It's in my growing stash to be sent off for hallmarking before going on sale.

Just finished a 'random shapes' bracelet.
It's surprisingly quite chunky and will be sent off for hallmarking. The Assay Office have a minimum charge for the service, so I'm trying to build a selection of pieces up ready to go to make financial sense!

Day 4 of . Todays topic is Beach vibe / On the Water

We used to own a lovely little home in Camaret sur Mer on the west coast of Brittany. We were surrounded by beautiful beaches and fabulous walks.

I loved setting my jewellery bench up in my little studio in the garden, and the sea and coast influenced a lot of my designs.
There was lots of seaglass on a nearby beach that I'm still using.

I do miss my walks!

I set myself a goal, to take part in a challenge set by the lovely Kelly of twigg.

Kelly not only makes beautiful jewellery, but also shares some great tips for makers of silver jewellery.

So this challenge started on Friday 1st and I've already missed Day - 1 About Me and Day 2 - View from here.

Well About Me .....obviously I procrastinate, need a firm deadline to achieve and if you look at my work bench, work in chaos. So that's about covered Days 1 and 2!!

So, on to Day 3 Keeping me company.

I pretty much work in solitude, but my partner Steven will always give a valid opinion and constructive feedback (but only when asked obviously. He's not that brave!)
