A love story that began long before the “I do”

For Rebecca, Wakefields has always been part of life in Horsham. From small gifts and special moments to one of the most important pieces of jewellery she would ever wear, Wakefields has been there to mark milestones along the way.

So, when Andy proposed, choosing Wakefields to create Rebecca’s engagement ring made the moment even more meaningful.

Long before the proposal, Andy worked closely with Melanie Wakefield to begin designing a ring he knew would be perfect for Rebecca. After the surprise proposal, Rebecca became part of the process too, exploring styles, stones and metals before choosing the emerald-cut diamond she had always dreamed of.

The finished ring was personally designed with Melanie and handmade by our skilled in-house team, a truly bespoke piece with a story that is uniquely theirs.

And as Rebecca’s own story has evolved, so has her relationship with Wakefields.

With a lifelong love of bridal and event wear, Rebecca has recently embarked on an exciting new chapter, building her own independent bridal boutique in Horsham. Creating an exceptional experience and making every moment memorable for her brides and their guests, is at the heart of what she is building, something she feels has been influenced by the businesses and people who have made an impression on her over the years.
