Okay, hear me out! I haven't gone completely bonkers! 🤣 (some might disagree!!🤣)

I have seen a few small businesses recently talking about Christmas in July and it got me thinking...

The run up to Christmas is a hugely busy time for us (and many of you!), as we spend most of our time trading in Birmingham from mid November onwards.

This means that our workshops around that time are very limited and so we can't share the joy of glass fusing as much as we would really love to.

So....

I thought I would join the trend and organise some workshop dates throughout the month to bring the fun and excitement of creating your own Christmas decorations to even more of you!

This also means you can:

> Spread the cost of Christmas by booking an early workshop
> Create truly unique gifts for family and friends
> Enjoy stress free festive fun

In this workshop you will create 3 fused glass decorations to hang on your tree or to gift to others.
It is suitable for complete beginners, no experience or "creative flair" needed as we will help and guide you along the way.

They will be based in Droitwich, where I run my tutoring business, and will be a combination of daytime, evening and weekend dates.

I'm just finalising all the dates and getting them uploaded ready for booking on Friday 5th June.

But it’s okay, I’ve been trying to satisfy my desire to play with glass - by buying it!
It’s like Christmas here at the moment eith all the deliveries! 🤣🤣 (speaking of which…more on that C-word coming soon 🫣)

I am super excited about some of the bits I’ve ordered!

But someone needs to stop me from buying haha!!

Not sure how long I’ll last if I’m honest! 🤣

If you’ve:
👉🏻 never been to a workshop before but fancy giving it a go
👉🏻 have been before and fancy coming back
👉🏻 are a bit crazy, like me, and are already thinking towards the festive seasons (anything to think cool in this heat! 😆)

A later evening short visit to the studio today 🥵 to empty the car of last night’s workshop supplies and get the kiln on.
Aren’t they just fantastic?! These 7 of these 8 ladies had never done glass fusing before!
I am super excited to get them out of the kiln to see the results!
(The other random pieces will be necklaces! Excited to see those too!)

We won’t be there much over the next few days though, because it gets SERIOUSLY hot in the studio. It’ll be an opportunity for me to catch up on some jobs I’ve been putting off around the house 😅 and to enjoy the sun!

We had so much fun lastnight at our second workshop at Each piece is so unique and beautiful! It’s such a lovely venue and I can’t wait to take the pieces back and have a proper look around the actual museum. I was super busy helping and having fun that I didn’t take too many photos but I really recommend a visit if you can!

We are really looking forward to heading back to Museum of Fashion Malvern CIC tomorrow for another fully booked suncatcher workshop!

We have quite a few bigger commitments coming up so there are still some workshops going on and we are working on some new dates with some venues too!
