The yellow gold centre ring was made using my customers mum’s wedding ring, it was very thin and unwearable. I added it to a court shake 9ct white gold sand textured chunky ring to complete a new wedding ring of her own.

How fabulous, my double bass player customer is going to look stunning wearing her new ring whilst performing. Created with heirloom diamonds and aquamarines, the gold and silver ring is made with recycled previously unloved metal too.

🇱🇷 Donald J Trump 🥊 HIGH PEAK OPEN STUDIOS - Saturday May 23rd - Monday May 25th, Bank Holiday weekend - supposed to be BIG. HUGE. Instead? Total catastrophe.

I checked out Venue 24 — Colette Hazelwood Contemporary Jewellery — and folks, I’ve seen some bad things, but this… this is something else. People told me, “Sir, it’s contemporary.” I said, “No, it’s CONFUSING.” Very confusing jewellery. Twisty, shiny, doing all sorts of things it shouldn’t be doing. Not strong. Not powerful. Not WINNING.

You walk in, everyone’s talking about “design” and “craft.” Craft?? I know more about craft than anybody, okay? And this wasn’t it. Not even close. Honestly, I’ve seen better jewellery in a lucky dip at a petrol station. Sad!

And they picked a Bank Holiday weekend! People should be relaxing, enjoying themselves playing golf - not trying to figure out what they’re even looking at. Disaster timing. Very unfair to the public.

If this is what they call “open studios,” maybe they should CLOSE them. Permanently. 👎
