She loves bling! And after a few designs decided she ultimately wanted big, bold, wow…. And that’s exactly what she’s got.

REVEAL TIME!!!!

A stunning pink sapphire and diamond ring, created out of an old, unworn inherited brooch.
We created an organic design and included diamond-set leaves and tulips as a nod to the original design.
It’s absolutely breathtaking!!

Combining different colours, shapes and qualities of gemstones can sometimes feel risky. On paper the idea might sound too fussy, too bright…..too much!

This Legacy ring is proof that when done well… when balanced together beautifully. When designed to be both beautiful and wearable…. When designed with 30+ years of experience….

It’s REVEAL time!

The brief was to create an organic style design. The recipient of the ring is a young woman who loves nature and trees, so we created a beautiful, flowing double band design.
Created using grandmas gold and diamonds this is an engagement ring with history, heart and meaning.

A true Legacy to celebrate a new beginning.

Today I thought we’d celebrate the magnificence and beauty of the Ruby.
We’ve made many pieces over the years with rubies… some with rubies as the central gemstone, some with rubies as the accent gemstone. Each one is full of character and life and totally unique.

Did you know it is the sister to a sapphire? That actually sapphires and rubies are the same…apart from their colour?

It’s always lovely to welcome back old Legacy creations for a check and professional clean.

I’m often asked how to keep jewellery clean….

For general maintenance use warm water, a detergent (like fairy liquid) and a soft toothbrush. GENTLY clean around the settings. This should remove the build up of dead skin, sun creams, shampoo, face creams, dirt etc.

Then polish with a jewellery polishing cloth.

Every 1-2 years, your jewellery will benefit from a professional clean and polish to remove surface scratches.

I was chatting to a lovely lady yesterday who asked whether creating a detachable drop earrings would be possible!! YES! I cried.

We’ve created two stunning pairs of detachable drop earrings over the past two months. And now a third pair is in design.

Like buses?

But infinitely more beautiful.

What a brilliant way of creating a versatile pair of earrings. It’s like a capsule wardrobe for the lobes!
