Moss agate, you have absolutely no right being this ethereal and mystical 🤩

The stone on the left was originally chosen by Sophie, she saw it whilst attending one of my classes and just couldn’t leave it. I made it into a ring with some of her own sentimental gold. It came back recently for a repair and Sophie asked if it might be possible to use another stone to make them into a pair of drop earrings instead.

I absolutely love them. Each stone filled with their own personality. Sisters, not twins. I see something different every time I look at them!
I still have several moss agate stones in stock if you’d like to take a look and commission your own piece!

I’ve been really quiet on socials this month but working away nonetheless. Here’s a little roundup of highlights…

• A private class to celebrate an 80th birthday
• Two sets of grandparents rings about to be melted together to create a brand new set of wedding rings
• My girl meeting her rugby idol 🤩
• Something new for 2025 - jewellery making workshops in primary schools. More information to come soon!
• Lisa and Steve booked to ‘rent a bench’ as Lisa has attended many of my classes and wanted to teach Steve to make his own ring. She made 3 bezel set rings too!

This week I just absolutely had to make something just for the fun of it and these juicy gemstones were calling to me - perfect for summer!
Carnelian, apetite, prehnite, moonstone… so many lovely stones to choose from.

I set some in silver and some in gold, completely instinctively based on which I thought set the stone colour off most.

My creative little brain occasionally needs a break from the business aspect and it’s so fun to make for the sake 😅

I’m hoping to have them all photographed and ready to purchase in the next few days but if any are calling to you then drop me a message!

I never take for granted the relationships and trust that are built every day in the job that I do but sometimes little things remind me.
Like when Rich and Eleanor came to make their wedding rings recently and told me that I had been the first person they told on the day they got engaged 🥹 you see, Rich had been coming to me over the course of a few months to help to make the ring he would propose to Eleanor with! So I was knew exactly when he was planning to do it and was waiting for the news. It’s such a privilege to be let into your lives and such special moments. Thank you always for trusting me! ❤️
