I have the pleasure of making lots of very special pieces but when it’s for family that you have grown up with it makes it that bit more special.
An engagement ring made for my little cousin. After Daniella proposed to her partner Waqqar we set abut designing the perfect ring. The stone selection involved many family members, including my son dressed as Spider-Man and my grandma with her magnifying glass 😅.
The final design is a beautiful blue pear shaped sapphire set in buttery 18ct yellow gold with a platinum band. Super special and I’m very proud to be a part of their story as they start the next chapter of their lives together ❤️

These guys are making me want to put my decorations up! The cutest little studs that look like tiny little wreaths. They are textured with a stamp to give a sparkly finish. Perfect with your Christmas outfit and for everyday wear!

Adjustable silver crescent ring- £45
Perfect when you don’t know their size. Bold enough to make an impact but delicate enough for everyday. Love the organic pebble on this with the smooth curving silver around the edge.

5 days of Christmas - day 2 🎄🎁🎅🏻
Silver leaf imprint pendant on 18 inch trace chain- £35
A skeleton leaf is rolled through a rolling mill with the sterling silver which leaves this delicate, permanent impression in the metal. A disc is then cut and lightly domed to create these cute little pendants. Each one will be different to the next as a different section of lead is used every time.

In the run up to Black Friday this week you’re going to be bombarded with discounts and offers by all big companies, the likes of which us small ones simply can’t compete with. I’m not even going to try, I can’t discount things by 40% and I can’t offer buy one get one free.
But I do have something special coming for you…
Every day this week Monday - Friday I will have a new offering, the 5 days of (Pre) Christmas!
Starting tomorrow evening I will post a new item of jewellery which is available in a limited number of 10 pieces, postage will be included in the price and they will all be priced to suit stocking filler type budget (under £50). There will be earrings, necklaces and rings!

I'm the heart and hands behind Hello Halfpenny. Established in 2013, my business has evolved to include a range of beautiful, personalised pieces of jewellery as well as a range of friendly and informal jewellery making and craft classes.
My work is inspired by you and your stories. I love to create pieces which will help you to commemorate the special moments in your life. I work mainly in silver and rolled gold to provide an accessible range of jewellery which is designed to be worn daily.
My jewellery career began when I studied 3D Design at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated in 2008 with First Class Honours specialising in metalwork. After graduating I completed teacher training and taught in a secondary school, college and adult educaton setting for several years. Now, I split my time between creating my own jewellery range and teaching small adult craft workshops.
The majority of my classes are taught in my studio space at Croft Myl in Halifax centre however I also work in partnership with several shops to deliver workshops across Yorkshire and the North West. I'd love it if you could join me on one of my classes - check out upcoming dates here.
