When the company I had worked at for 17 years closed down towards the end of 2023, I decided to take some time to travel and a little reflection! It was during
this time that I realised if I was ever going to create jewellery to sell, there was no better opportunity. Little did I know how much research and learning it would involve, but it has been an incredibly enjoyable journey with plenty of work still ahead! I have always loved BIG jewellery and this inspired me to create my 'Cascade' Rings. My goal was to design something not only large but also eye-catching and unique for people who love their individuality and want their jewellery to stand out. Over time, I refined my idea to create the base design and then combined this with inspiration gained from experiences to create statement pieces unlike anything I've seen for sale elsewhere. However, I didn't want to limit my shop to just rings, so I also focused on another passion of mine - BIG necklaces. The inspiration for my necklaces typically starts with finding one or two focal pieces, while taking inspiration from my experiences (mostly in the outdoors!) and building the design from there. I then choose ribbon that complements the design and knot it all together, creating versatile pieces that the owner can adjust to their preferred length. I work out of my home office and take great joy in making custom pieces for those who have specific colour schemes in mind.
