Ladies and Gentlemen I present to you the very first skull I ever made, it’s chased out of 2 sheets of guilding metal to form the 2 halves and the soldered together with the surface then flooded with solder to give it some detail. Once it was all done it was drilled and the Mohawk added. Somewhere I’ve got an enamelled copper mask for him. I think it was either 1984 or 1985 I made it, probably more like 1985, he’s been with me for over 40 years. I keep looking at him and thinking he needs some minor alterations, maybe a little haircut and the additional of a silver chain as the leather cord he once sat on has long since gone ~ the question is do I sell him, he certainly is very beautiful as well as something very special to me but it also gives you collectors the opportunity to own the very first piece if skull jewellery I made ~ keep an eye on the socials, he may well be offered for sale

A couple more photos to give an idea of size ~ this bangle was huge, about 300g in solid silver. Cast skulls at each end on a 6 strand twisted wire bangle. The amount of heat and energy it took to move it was incredible. Once made I had to close it up in a bench vice around my customers wrist ~ that wasn’t coming off again in a hurry ~ bespoke jewellery is my specialty, from design to the final piece I do it all
