Last chance to order Ecohab's local provenance wildflower seed for your wildflower creation projects this year. Our seed mixtures are brush harvested from species-rich meadows on the Gloucestershire Herefordshire borders. It's that time of year again looking at gorgeous floodplain meadows for harvesting. Like all the farmers making hay we just need some dry weather now

Treated to a marbled white mating display at the gorgeous meadows of corse lawn common including blues, meadow browns and common skipper

The Longhope rec verges were saved from the mower this may and it's awash with flowers and bees. The next thing to flower with be all the birds foot trefoil and yarrow. As long as we can pursuade the parish council to stop unecessary mowing of the banks
