BRB we’re filming a new campaign

I’m Olivia, the designer and jeweller behind the brand.

I’ve been a jeweller for almost 10 years and launched my brand after I graduated from Glasgow School of Art.

After graduating, I exhibited at New Designers in London where I sold almost half my collection. I then went on to exhibit the remaining pieces at the Goldsmiths Centre in London, a short walk from London’s jewellery quarter, Hatton Garden.

In the lockdown summer of 2020, I designed the Ondulée Collection. A range of contemporary, wearable pieces from earrings to necklaces and rings. All inspired by my degree show inspiration: Japanese architecture, particularly Tadao Ando and made by hand in my dad’s garden shed.

To launch the new collection, I created a full campaign, new logo and website. This was the start of the brand Olivia Taylor.

6 years on, the business has evolved in ways I could never have imagined. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you and I’m so proud of the team I have around me. I cannot wait to show you what’s to come this year!

We are so excited to welcome our third guest to the OT + Friends Series. Please say hello to the lovely Jenn.

“Olivia’s jewellery first caught my eye at Park Lane Market in Shawlands, and I bought one pair of earrings… then another, then another!

While I keep telling myself that’s my collection’s complete, there’s something about the design that draws me back again. Maybe it’s that distinctive Ondulée gleam, or the personal touch - my mum is also a fan and always says how special it feels to get a little note from Olivia in each order. Each piece is treasured, from my beloved classic gold hoops, to the custom mixed metal versions Olivia made for me, to the personalised necklace my friends commissioned for my birthday.

I feel like I’m building a collection of modern heirlooms with my Ondulée jewels; timeless, perfect complements to the vintage jewellery I love from my friends and family.”

Jenn’s styling for the shoot is particularly interesting. She combines runway looks with vintage, handmade pieces. More information in our reel next week.

who had the pleasure of styling the gorgeous Rebekah Murrell for the premier red carpet in London.

To represent Scottish design, Amanda used this stunning cashmere & silk Flora McFarlane dress, paired with a selection of our jewellery: Statement Hoops and a selection of Ondulee Rings: MAD XL Ring, MAD Ring and Thick Ring styles.

A special happy birthday goes out to

Our stylish friend turned 60 last week and was kindly gifted one of our Ondulée rings by his wife

Alex is always drawn to grungy jewellery so our oxidised ring in 925 recycled silver was a perfect addition to his jewellery collection.

We hope you both had a lovely time celebrating on holiday! Thank you both so much.

Lots of love
Olivia
