Hi, I'm Carrie and I run Astrid Jensen with my mum, Andrea. Originally our focus was Wedding Candy Carts but with coronavirus (and our background in childcare) we've decided to focus on Kids' Birthday Candy Carts. I've got three gorgeous children and know the stresses and joys of creating fantastic birthday parties! WHAT WE DO

I'm a professional architectural modelmaker but my passion

for candy carts came from my sister's wedding a few years ago. After having my middle child I wanted to be self-employed so my mum and I started Chic Candy Carts. Then (surprise, surprise!) my youngest came along and everything went on the back burner. Now I'm back, and ready to help you with your kid's parties! WHY WE'RE UNIQUE

I design and make the canopy and side panels for the carts - that's what makes Astrid Jensen Candy Carts unique. There are plenty of Glasgow candy cart businesses out there, but none of them can give you a cart that totally (and tastefully) embraces your theme. Whatever you want, I can create. My mum and I will go above and beyond to help you and your little (or bigger!) one to have the best birthday party ever. ​

YOUR OWN CUSTOMISED THEME

As I said earlier, I can design most themes for you. I create and decorate by hand customised panels to style your chosen motif. As this is a bespoke service, including the sourcing of appropriate accessories, there is an additional minimum charge of £50. The final charge will depend on the complexity of your design. I'm sure you'll agree this is worth the smile on your little one's face, not to mention all the fab Insta pics and Facebook posts! 📌 Wee update for you! And a request for help.

😟 Like most small businesses, we've been hit by the effects of Covid restrictions and are adapting as best we can.

🍭 Our candy cart hire service is now more locally based - Glasgow and surrounding areas with elsewhere in Scotland by special request.

👧 We are also focusing on children's parties and no longer providing wedding candy carts.

💌 This change to our client base means that, for now, we're now going to run things through FB and Insta rather than our website.

💕 I'm in the process of transferring info from our website to here so that you still have access to all the details of our service. Our 'About' section has already been updated and I'll keep you posted about the rest.
