These couple of cuties were made for a couple of cuties who got married yesterday .. ❤️.( so I can show you the rings now ;)

We melted down the bride’s old yellow and white gold family rings and what turned out was this gorgeously creamy coloured gold .. ( ..the mix of golds created an alloy that was ridiculously hard, great to wear but tricky to bend ..)

We invisibly set some of the old cut diamonds from her aunties ring into the chunky band… et voilà!
The groom went for a nice and rustic hammered silver band .
Sometimes the simplest designs are the best 💫..

Hi hi ,

Just a reminder that the shop is closed today 🌸

Both my kids are off from school and
college and I’m just eeking out one extra day to spend hanging about with them .

Balancing being a sole parent to two teenagers and running your own business can be alot at times , so it’s important to take a bit of time when I can to stay sane ..

Thanks to customers who are waiting for their commissions for being patient. As always there is a huge stack to work my way through but we always get there in the end 😊 ..

I hope you all enjoyed that beautiful afternoon of sun ☀️.. it was glorious !

The shop is back open on Thursday at 10am.

So great to see my beautiful friend Suzi from at my wee shop the other day . Suzi used to come to my Thursday night jewellery class for nearly ten years and what a laugh we had ..
She is the proud owner of the wonderful Sunshine no 1 in Mount Florida which sells loads of cool wee quirky things from all around Britain.( she has an awesome map on the back wall showing where all the makers are from which is cool )
She is also a jewellery maker and makes beautiful things . Have a look ,but chances are you already know her , she s a shiny happy all round good egg ❤️
