Do you like stacking rings?
If so I’d love to know what you like included in a set.

Different metals?
Contrasting band widths?
Textures?
Large gemstones?
Faceted gemstones?
Added metal granules or symbols?

I have a few thin stacking rings in my restored stock that might benefit from some new handmade friends to sit alongside them so it would be really helpful to know.

Another pair of earrings I made using up some leftover offcuts - this time from a twist ring I’m making. The stones are beautiful mystic topaz - the coating on the topaz gives a purple and green sheen as the light catches them.

I flippantly said to my jewellery diploma mentor that perhaps I should make a lighthouse ring (having made a lighthouse brooch) for my final project task which was to make an engagement and wedding ring set.

I then thought, well why not? It will be something different and very me. So here they are, in silver and gold with (lab) diamonds.

And yes that is a ceramic lighthouse ring box in the background, all the way from the USA that just happened to appear on EBay when I was hunting for ring boxes.

A friend visiting today handed me a bag of loose gemstone beads for my stash, because her elasticated bracelets had broken.

I thought remaking the bracelet was a much better idea.

I’ve guessed how they might have once looked - hopefully she’ll like them 💜
