.amaker week day 4 today’s prompt, Favourite Christmas Tradition ‘. Difficult to choose I love so much about Christmas. The Christmas Tree and process of decorating it with my much cherished baubles, collected over the years most symbolises Christmas for me. I have been known to to put jewellery on the tree too 🎄

.amaker week day 2 prompt ‘behind the scenes’ this is my extremely messy and much loved work bench. My caring husband built the top section utilising a sturdy, battered old drawing board which slots over an equally sturdy 1940 oak table. Every time I accidentally drop a red hot piece of metal on my bench I am exasperated with myself but not as much as a I would be if I was working at an extremely expensive purpose built jewellers bench. The small table was given to me when I was in my 20’s. I initially used it as a sewing table it then progressed to a nappy changing table, a homework table, then a craft table. At some point I made the choice to paint the table top (what was I thinking). Hmm the problem is now that I have photographed my work bench and had a bit of a think I have noticed that Durston Workbench Drawer Unit is on sale …

Find a Maker week already! Today’s prompt, ‘this is me’. I enjoy making and supplying galleries with my jewellery. I am a maker member and was fortunate to be part of the makers exhibition celebrating 70 years of making back in the summer. Not always fun my clutch broke down last Saturday while delivering jewellery to 😂 A big thank you to AA recovery 😁
