As Christmas approaches I love to think about how I can support small businesses with my present- buying 🎁🎁🎁

These were just 4 reasons of many to buy local, buy handmade, buy from someone who has put their heart and soul into an item, not just something unpacked and put on a shelf.

I can't wait to go to craft fairs, browse on Etsy and visit craft shops to buy as much as possible from artists and makers, knowing just how special it is to sell something you've loved making 😍

I've enjoyed painting a photo of the kids I took last year, looking out over the estuary at Topsham. I cannot paint faces at all, so I'm glad they were looking away! 🀣
